Yeah, I know this is the internet, Ted Stevens explained the whole deal to me. But it's a part that I borrowed from ForumWise, and you can't do whatever you want on this part of it. Why? Partially because there are legal issues that probably won't come up but that intimidate me anyway, and partially just because I'm an evil tyrannical forum administrator. Don't let this discourage you from joining, just don't do any of these things:

Anything in conflict with ForumWise's Terms of Use.
Join if you're below 13. I'm in the US, ForumWise is probably hosted in the US and run in the US, so we follow COPPA. COPPA requires a parental consent form for anyone under 13, and I have no way to receive such forms. I am aware no one even thinks about enforcing it, and that you can't enforce it, but I don't want to deal with it. So wait until you're 13.
Hold me or any moderators responsible for anything that occurs involving your use of Politiks Forum. This includes, but is not limited to, your being offended by something you see here, your computer suddenly turning into a frog, the supreme being or beings you believe in disapproving of your use of the site, or someone calling you mean names.
Post any sexually explicit material or web addresses of sexually explicit material.
Post personal information and then complain that someone saw it. This is the internet, it's not a big truck, so don't just dump personal information on it.

Doing any of the above will get you banned. Violations of the below rules will get you suspended:

Signatures can't be huge. Yes, I am the one who decides what huge means, more or less my definition is bigger than 400 pixels wide or 100 tall.
Don't post links to your own site except in signatures, unless it is obviously relevant to the topic of a thread.

Obviously, it is also necessary to register to post, so if you haven't already, do it.
