I'm not sure about the choice of a color that's a clear-cut departure from the overall color scheme of the template. To me it works for subSilver, but not for most other templates, including smartDark. The idea is to make the banner well incorporated and yet make it catch the attention of the viewer and stick out, but not too much.

Yes definitely we need a new logo. Since I didn't start a contest for this week I think I'll move this to the contest forum and make it this week's.

I have to agree with Medora though that yours doesn't exactly fit with smartDark.

I don't know if the style really matches the smartdark style, which style are you in S? I can't do anything remotely better so I shouldn't be talking though.

Ok, I forgot that you can't change the logo for different themes... so here's one more in grey for SmartDark.
