First contest is a kind of activity contest, the goal is to create the most controversial topic, or the one with the most replies anyway. The contest ends one week from now, May 6th at 7:00 AM (EST). Whoever started the thread with the most responses is the winner, however note that anyone who double-posts in their own thread will have that thread disqualified (posting in your thread is fine, just don't double-post). Any thread started after this post's timestamp is automatically eligible, there is no need to post a link to your thread here or anything.
The winner will be PMed to ask for a URL and button, which will go up on the portal page within 24 hours of me receiving the response PM. Until then, there will be a placeholder button which links to your profile. Note that the button stays up for two months after the end of the contest, not two months after it goes up, so if it takes you three days to send me back a link that's your loss. The button and site the link goes to must not conflict with Politiks Forum's terms/rules. Your username, chosen button, and chosen URL will also go in the Winners thread, which is stickied at the top of the Contests forum, for however long Politiks Forum survives. |

agentkgb's what's your religion thread is winning. I don't think staff should be eligible though.

I don't think so either, since part of the point is to attract and keep members. If we're not counted, citizen's winning.

Staff can't win, but with which thread is citizen winning? I just looked through the whole forum, and Recca and (-S-) are tied with a 7-response thread each.

I must have looked at the last response instead of the thread author.
