Anyone know who they're voting for in the US Presidential Election of 2008 yet? I won't be able to vote then, but if I did I'd probably go with the Greens (I don't live in a swing state, if I did I'd probably vote for a Democrat).

I would vote Green, but since I'm in a swing state, I don't vote for them in presidential elections.

Ron Paul in the primaries, and hopefully in the election.

Not sure, probably a democrat since they're a little better than the Republicans.

Whichever candidate is the Republican one. Definitely. But I am not allowed to vote :(

Me neither, not for a couple more years. :( And I won't be able to vote for president until I'm 21 because I turn 18 the year of the 08 inauguration.

As long as Hilary or Obama, or any other foolish Democrat for that matter does not win I am happy, unfortunately I will not be able to "rock the vote", other wise I would likely vote for McCain.

I'll be voting, but I'm not sold onto whom I'll vote for right now. Being from Utah I have had some experience with Mitt Romney, since he turned the 02 games from a clusterfuck into a raving success. but his religion is going to hold him back in my opinion.

I think the best option for this country would be a moderate, someone financially conservitive but socially liberal. unfortinatly right now I haven't found a canidate which fits the bill.

I'm only certain of who I don't want to win in 08: Hilary, Obama, McCain.

Other than that, I'll take my time and figure out who deserves my vote.

I'm a Republican, but if I find a conservative candidate in another party who seems better fit than in my own, I'll vote for him/her.

Fixed that for you.

Also, I don't vote.

But I don't want Hillary to win. I don't care who wins, so long as it's not her, or a uber-conservative type.

I'm a liberal-ish-type person. However, Hillary is several naughty words. I'd rather have her husband back before her.

It's very interesting to me the way the anti-Hillary side of the left is shaping up. It may be that the Dems know she can't win the general election, given how much vitriol she inspires in Republicans, but also that in the post-Bush era, they want to take a risk on a politician of lofty ideas (some would perhaps in Obama's case correctly call them platitudes). The reason this seems so strange to me is that Dems accuse the Neo-Cons of being Don Quixotes, people of ideological distraction, and yet they're throwing their towel in for a candidate who website is "powered by hope." This is not to denigrate Obama, who may be exactly what this country needs, another JFK.

(For the record, I don't like Hillary on the grounds that she'd be starting a dangerous political dynasty in this country. Tom Paine forever!)
