I like reading about the Romans and the Chinese. The millenia-old sinocentric view is really interesting. The whole "China=Middle Earth" thing. |

I'm actually very interested in the post-Han period in China.
"What is the post-Han period, Mr. Frankenberry?"
Have you ever played Dynasty Warriors or Romance of the Three Kingdoms or heard of a book by the name of the second thing I italicized? That's the post-Han period I'm most interested in. The Three Kingdoms.
Just a shame my world history textbook in high school summed that entire period up in about two sentences. |

| Ancient Rome and the Alexanderian era are my favorite eras of history. I'm also getting interested in the Meso-American civilizations of the Southwest, I've been studying some of their ruins in the four corners area and they really had an amazing civilization. |
